STAGE DOOR SONGBOOK - SONGS FROM AUSTRALIAN MUSICALS
Compiled and Arranged by DAVID REEVES.
ORiGiN™ Theatrical is proud to be an Australian owned and operated company representing great Australian stories and authors.
That is why we commissioned seasoned professional David Reeves to edit and arrange 15 songs from Australian musicals.

The numbers contained in this book come from a diverse group of productions, nine original shows, all with a powerful Australian creative link. They have been chosen on strict criteria including box office success as well as public reception. All the numbers in this volume are written in the style of the traditional musical. Each with a clear melody line, supporting relevant story enhancing lyrics, not necessarily written just for the Australian market.

Strictly Ballroom
Encore Theatre Company
15-30 March, 2019
At The Princess Theatre, Launceston

"outstanding production boasting high production values and outstanding talent"
"The ballroom scenes were stunning, vibrant and exciting, but the real power was evident in the Paso doble scene – Magnifico.  The palmas was extraordinary. The orchestra could not be faulted but the dancing, pared to just rhythm and, ultimately (in the final scene), to silence, exuded a raw power." - Stage Whispers (Anne Blythe Cooper)

If you're in Adelaide, you must catch Connected The Rock Musical at the Adelaide Fringe March 7 & 8. Writer of the book, music and lyrics Craig Christie will be in town for a special Q&A session after the performance.
Connected is a professional rock musical about four teenagers and their friends, caught in a situation they can't control, as their online lives have real-world consequences. 'Connected' demonstrates how easily cyber activities can get out of hand and illuminate the potentially disastrous consequences. The students' attention is held by an energetic, fast-paced narrative and an edgy contemporary musical soundtrack.
