FREE READ: The Dusty Springfield Musical

8/16/2018

The complete script of DUSTY - THE ORIGINAL POP DIVA is now available to read for free until August 31.
DUSTY tells the story of Mary O'Brien who the world knew as Dusty Springfield. In the 1960s Dusty Springfield takes the entertainment world by storm with a score of hits, a top TV show and a legion of fans. She was the most influential British female artist of the 60’s.  Known as the White Lady of Soul, she was responsible for bringing the Motown sound to the UK.  But the success she wanted is hollow and real happiness eludes her.

The original production of Dusty was nominated for seven Helpmann Awards, and won four.
DUSTY played to over 400,000 people in 253 performances in its original Australian tour. It also played a successful return tour a few years later.
DUSTY the Original Pop Diva includes many great big hits of the 1960s including: I Only Want To Be With You, Dancing In The Street, Wishin’ and Hopin’, Son Of A Preacher Man, I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself, and many more.

Visit the DUSTY website for more information on the show, available materials and to apply for a production licence.
